That Maynard is one cool cat.

I may have to watch that show. It looks like it portrays an interesting slice of life in the late 50s.

its interesting that he talks about sprinkler systems, automatic dryers , based on how old this would be didnt think those things would be around. Plus the caterpillar on his chin!  Bob Denver was his name he'd be 83 today

Definitely a generational thing. "Maynard" has but one meaning in my book, and it has a considerably less wholesome connotation than the one proposed.

Thought of Tool first thing too. I imagined it must have been something related to his post-singing vinyard ownership stuff.
