my two favorite comics here in one thread :-)
-
My two favorite comic strips! I read them all the time as a kid and now my kid “reads” Calvin and Hobbes and is asking questions about why he does so many naughty things. ;-) I find myself wondering if maybe I shouldn’t let her be influenced my Calvin?

Hopefully some of Hobbes will sink in, too.

Good point. Her lovey is a stuffed lion and I like to think he is calm and wise like Hobbes.

Huge fan of Calvin and Hobbes.
But I think this one by Watterson is my favorite and might resonate here.
edited to fix attachment.

Love that particular strip, but already posted by RyanAtTanagra above.

I feel like it's worth the clarification that this was not a Watterson comic, but rather a tribute to his values and art style. Still one of the best!

And to further clarify, the words are Watterson's (from a graduation speech at his alma mater, Kenyon College), but the drawings are not.
