yacon syrup
« on: February 12, 2015, 09:54:18 AM »
An acquaintance sent me a coupon for this weight loss/energy booster product that apparently Oprah Winfrey and Dr. Oz like. I checked on Amazon, where you can get an 8 oz. bottle for $25. Sounds like the newest fad scam to me…but I trust sensible MMM people's opinions on things. Any thoughts? This is the first I've even heard of this product.

An easy way to determine if something is a diet related scam:

Anything that anyone claims will make you lose and keep weight off safely without exercise and proper diet is bullshit.

Don't know anything about it but I do know that exercise gives you the same benefits as well as many others. Don't cost nothin' either unless you are buying a bike which I highly recommend.

Thanks, guitarsteve and gt7152b.. My sentiments exactly--but I don't want to be close-minded about new things. I thought maybe I was missing something here. I'll eat some lettuce and go take my walk. Convict Conditioning workout is for tomorrow.

Nothing more than fancy soluble fiber.  You lose weight because your stomach hurts and you poop more.

That stuff is crap. Honestly speaking in terms of supplements, clenbuterol, ECA stack, or adderall (do not condone any of these by the by) are the only ones that work in the way that weight-loss fads claim. Anything else is bullshitting yourself, though any stimulant will assist a little bit.

Rationally, less food and keeping up the activity level is the proper solution. You could add a pre-w/o such as N.O. or ferox if you are completely dragging, and it would be not significantly cost-prohibitive. Depends on your hunger / stimulant tolerance levels.
