Weekly graph of Coronavirus cases and deaths
« on: June 18, 2020, 10:01:52 PM »
Hey everyone, I'll be updating a graph of COVID-19 cases and deaths once a week (usually weekends) by state for your reference. Data courtesy New York Times.

Here's for data up the month from 5-15 to today:

Here is the 6-21 Graph. Cases are climbing but death rates are stable to decreasing nationwide.

It is really interesting to see the state-to-state difference.  For anyone in Alabama, I would recommend https://www.alreporter.com/mapping-coronavirus-in-alabama/, which populates all of its charts from the AL dept of public health data.   Our curve, like much of the South, is going up, up, up.  They can turn anything into a culture war here, even the simple act of putting a piece of fabric over your potentially coronavirus-spewing mouth to protect others and yourself.  Idiots.
