Yeah, we lost power due to severe weather here in Florida. So, I walked outside after the rain stopped and enjoyed the remaining sunlight and high 60's temperature.

I did get to hear about all the ice storms from my family who still lives in Michigan. It's one of the reason I got out when I could.

It just goes to show there is something for everyone.

As much as I can complain about the Winter-to-Spring transition, after spending 26 years in Florida I do not miss the high temperature and humidity of its summers, I much prefer the New England winters.

Though if I am honest I DO miss thunderstorms.

It's snowing again.  I may crawl into bed and not come out until the weekend.

I tend to think of fucking weather as being a warm sunny day with a mild breeze.

I would think cold, snowy, and windy is good as well.  As long as you are in a remote cabin with a fireplace and bearskin rug.

We got freezing rain this weekend and had a tree branch fall on our car, and insurance totaled it.   We just bought this car 7 months ago after our previous car was totaled by getting rear ended while waiting at a red light. I don't want to go car shopping again with a 6 month old baby.  Ain't nobody got time for that.  Fuck you winter.  Fuck you universe.

I had two 40 lb bags of salt that were ready for treating my hard water, but I had to raid them for thawing out the walkways with all these snow storms and ice storms in April...  had some hail yesterday that hurt as I was walking into work.

Ohhhh bummer.  The car I'm driving we shopped for and bought with a 4 month old baby, so I hear you.  An entire day, that ended only when I said "we're getting nowhere, I'm tired bye" and they  met my price.

(That baby is 12 now.)

It's snowing again.  I may crawl into bed and not come out until the weekend August.

Fixed it for you.  Tomorrow AM:  -4 C, feels like -10 C.

But Saturday is supposed to be 12C.  A positive number, and double digits!!!   I am not going outside tomorrow, and if it snows as predicted, I am going to close the blinds and refuse to look at it.

It is beautifully sunny here today - and the snow is melting - even the iceberg at the bottom of the driveway is melting.

To paraphrase a popular meme, the best part about early spring is watching it on TV from Florida.  :D
