We've had a couple of threads where folks say that technological advancements will slow or halt. My view has always been that we're smart enough to continually get more use out of our resources and continue our geometric growth in technological advancement making the world a better place.

Quantum entanglement and the transfer of properties (information) immediately is pretty cool stuff and there are a lot of potential uses!

Important to note that you can't transfer information immediately.
Ironically the main use is the development of the technology required to synchronise the arrival times to measure this effect.
The ability to sync clocks to <picoseconds at global distances is very valuable - the quantum encryption less so.
