Oh lucky you! I've never been there, however there may be some ideas for you over at LonelyPlanet Thorntree. If you're traveling Mustachian style, you can start with the Shoestring forum: http://www.lonelyplanet.com/thorntree/forum.jspa?forumID=53

My sister is there right now, on a travel-study program with university.  She is enjoying the weather the most, I think.

Probably won't be traveling all that mustachianly, just because work is paying for everything and I do have a lot of work to do while I'm there. So I'll be staying in a hotel near the office and probably eating many meals with colleagues.

But, as it turns out, my aunt hosted a foreign exchange student from São Paulo, and he and his family have reached out to me, so if everything works out, I will make some new pals and get to experience the city with them! I bet they know where to get the bombest steak ...

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
