Quick $50 for insurance study

Long-time reader, but never participated in the forum before. I don't know if this allowed, annoying, or belongs in another thread. Feel free to delete it or correct my in the comments.

Earlier this week, I took a 15 minute survey about insurance, and a few days later I received $50 via PayPal. I waited a few days to make sure it wasn't a hoax before sharing... To qualify, you need to have purchased health insurance on your own (not through an employer or university, marketplace is okay) and not be on Medicaid, Medicare, VA, etc. I'd venture to guess that applies to a lot of MMM readers. $50 more for the 'stache.

Trust me, I felt the same way, especially when they needed a picture of my insurance card. But I took a shot, got paid, and so far, so good. They also have retargeting ads set up on Facebook, and in the comments section, I saw several other people that said it worked for them with no problems. But I get it.
