I respectfully think the tone of this response is part of the problem.
Respectfully, I think it's the tone of people like acroy who claim white people are being oppressed that is most of the problem. America was founded on white supremacy, and it has fought for white supremacy for generations, but I thought we had finally worked all that out of our system. Then people like acroy show up and and start repeating the same KKK bullshit my grandfather used to tell me about how "the blacks are taking our country away from us" and "the jews secretly have all the power" and it just makes me sick. It's not somehow inappropriate to call a spade a spade, in this case, just because it's about our country's hidden racist underbelly.
I'd say the problem is people like you who are racists. Not in the sense that you think one race is superior to another, but in the sense that you think group results by race is more important than individuals.
For example, I have had it pretty easy. Straight white male, nuclear family, not rich in the sense that there were any assets to pass down but rich enough that there wasn't a concern about making utility payments or house notes. If you want to talk about how advantaged I have been, there's no reason for me to dispute it. I have been advantaged. When you start talking about how I'm part of the group that has oppressed people and run this country for years, you start sounding ignorant, but it's still no skin off my back.
To my knowledge, I'm not connected to any of the people you are talking about. If a disproportionate number of CEO's are white straight males, how does that help me personally? It's not like they get together and send quarterly updates to people like me so that I can know what's going on and provide input. There's no Christmas list they have where they take a portion of their huge salaries and send them out to people like me as a "Congrats on being a straight white male bonus." They're not my friends or family and whether they are straight or not, male or not, or white or not really has no impact on my life. Even less so could I be held responsible or culpable for anything the founders did, just because we have the same skin color, sexual preferences, and genitalia. But again, no skin off my back, because it doesn't matter. I have had it easy and while the idea that I'm part of some "group" running the country is ludicrous, it is easier being straight and white than not, and I've been lucky on things more important (being born into a stable family with above average IQ; being born and staying healthy and able bodied) and less important than race and sexuality. So it's nothing more than a matter of amusement to me.
But you start telling that to people who have been disadvantaged by the family they are born into, their natural intelligence, their health, their attractiveness, etc. etc.) and then you look at their problems and explicitly or implicitly state that they should suck it up because other people, who are not them, have the same skin color and have it good, I'm sure it's pretty infuriating. If I'm not getting any quarterly updates or christmas bonuses from the masters of the universe, I'm fairly certain the down on his luck white guy who lost his $15 an hour with benefits job at the last manufacturing joint in town and now is having trouble holding down $12 an hour no benefit service jobs isn't getting any quarterly updates or christmas bonsuses from teh masters of the universe. Unless I've just pissed off teh wrong person/people and I've been left out (in which case, any masters of the universe reading this please accept my apologies and put me on any distribution or membership list you have), I don't think they get even the slightest tangible benefit from unrelated people with the same skin color prospering.
And it's amazing to me how people can be so dense, and so lacking in empathy, that they don't understand how "Look at those other white guys that aren't you are doing. Quit yar whinin!" is anything other than infuriating to people it's being said to. And then when it's pointed out to them, instead of a mea culpa and a oh shit I am part of the reason we ended up with a terrible option like Trump as president, they call people racist.
