Interesting. I suppose if you ONLY watched Charlize Theron that would be a solid observation. But they had the whole maiden (the young women), mother (Furiosa), crone (the crotchety, formidable, old women) archetypes thing going in a hyper violent über male dominated patriarchal moonscape. (Reminds me of Afghanistan) The women, if freed of that crap, are the world's only hope of survival and a life WORTH surviving to live if the guys will only just GTFO of the way. Mad Max himself gets relegated to the background with dialogue that makes Clint Eastwood look like a chatterbox. When he does act it's because he as at least the nominal hero understands he better get with the program or bleach his bones in the desert.
