I think they mean you need more pronunciation options for everyone to vote. You didn't include: tock, toe-kay, or tuke (for me, 'cause two-kay made no sense to me, it's clearly one syllable, not 2 as implied by the dash).
I also didn't include "walla-walla-bing-bang." :)
The point of the poll was to see how Americans and Canadians pronounced "Toque." I was curious if it was a split between those two.
I was especially interested in how the man, FrugalToque himself, pronounced it, and how the majority of MMM readers (Americans) pronounced it, since he's been featured on the main blog a number of times, and I was wondering how many of us was thinking he was getting high cheaply, when really he just had a cheap hat.
If Australians, or others, have a different pronunciation, cool. That means they're not pronouncing it right either, which is fine, but not what I was interested in; it was the split between Canadians (and FT) and Americans (the majority of MMM readers). Thus the poll options. :)
Modifying any poll after it's started invalidates the results, but any of you interested in all the other potential pronunciations of Toque definitely feel free to start whatever poll(s) you'd like. I got the information I was curious about out of this one, and am satisfied. If you aren't, and are that curious, please do start one with whatever options you're curious about. :)
