What are the responsibilities that come with owning a town? I'm asking in all seriousness...I mean I don't suppose you can just boot out the current residents.
One of you millionaires want to buy it up and start a mustachian city? You could sell 80 of us a house for $15k each and rent out the other facilities to businesses and make a little profit.

Sadly, I'm not there yet. Even for 2 million that seems really inexpensive.
It's in a radio quiet zone. No cell phones allowed, no microwaves allowed, not sure about wi-fi, etc. That's kinda a plus to me, but would be a deal-breaker for many.

I think a lot of people who believe they have some health conditions caused by radiowaves might pay extra to live in this area. Not that you'd necessarily want some of them as your neighbors.

First, if you actually populated the town you'd have to create a few jobs almost by default (sheriff, deputy, fire chief, store clerks, etc.). Second, how many people actually work in the same town where they live, especially when the town only has a couple hundred people there?

Third, if you can get a home cheaply enough . . . why do you need to work? :P
I've been trying to figure out the internet situation on the website. No cell phones and no wifi, no problem, but my fear would be dial-up or extremely slow DSL.

That would probably be my first question if I was actually considering buying it
