Hooked on Animal Crossing: New Leaf. You play as a kid who is mayor of a town populated with cute talking animals.... It makes sense in the game. Anyway, I love it because it's relaxing, cute, and interactive as heck. The NPCs are very well developed, and I actually feel attachment to the characters.
Tom Nook is still the same sweet talking Tanooki who always seems to own you with massive debt. You can upgrade your house for a "paltry" sum of hundreds thousands of bells (in game currency). Pay him off and he tempts you to upgrade again and again, with larger loans each time, but after the first upgrade you don't need to agree to him.
It's also fun managing the town, doing public works projects, ordinances, etc. So much to do, so much time, so many characters and multiplayer for more awesome.
Fun game.
