JOB OPPORTUNITY AT TEMENOS RETREAT CENTER
RESIDENT DIRECTOR
Responsibilities include:
-welcoming and orienting retreatants and groups on Temenos grounds
-correspondence with guests and scheduling their stays
-preparation of cabins for guests
-helping plan and coordinate care of the land and cabins
-being the point person for phone and email contact with Temenos
-record keeping
-working with the Temenos Council
Desired Qualities and Skills:
-Ability to enjoy simple living in harmony with an off-the-grid setting
-Ability to work with both individual and groups in a friendly and supportive manner
-openness to different spiritual paths
-office skills, including some simple bookkeeping
-ability to do simple maintenance work
-sturdy physical condition
This is a year-round position. Compensation consists of a stipend plus full time use of a rustic cabin in a woodland setting.
