Lenders judge credit-worthiness by friends on Facebook
« on: August 05, 2015, 10:07:54 AM »
A patent Facebook bought some time ago was recently granted. It tracks how people are networked to others on a site like Facebook. The description also includes the idea of lenders being able to use it to evaluate the average credit score of one's friends.

This is a major deal for us mustachians. How can we contribute to Overheard on Facebook if we're not friends with spendthrifts and hot messes?

Will it hurt my ability to get credit if I don't have a Facebook account?

Of course. How can you even prove you exist?

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
