Is the Mazda5 on life support?

The cheap and cheerful Mazda5 minivan/wagon I believe is a mustachian all star. However Mazda UK just axed it and with low sales numbers in the US, it's future is nothing but guaranteed. Something to keep an out for if there's any potential buyers out there.
