if you liked Making of a Murderer...

... you might like The Staircase, a Sundance doc that sometimes plays on their channel, or it's out on DVD, my library had it.  Also on Amazon for a fee.  If you watch the first season, you may not want to rent or pay for the second, the results are on Wikipedia.  Interesting case.

I recently finished watching The Staircase on Netflix. I am now obsessed with the case.

Is this a new production about the Peterson guy? I saw an older production last hear.

It has 8 parts from the original trial, 2 parts from his appeal, and 3 new parts mostly added for the Netflix release.

I watched this series over the last week and really enjoyed it, although shows like this make me terrified of the justice system. Also, after reading the wikipedia page about the Peterson case I'm now intrigued by the "owl theory", it actually makes sense!
