An interesting study was done which links home ownership and unemployment rates. It is possible that the traditional American dream may be hampering our economy.

its interesting. makes sense, regarding increased commute times (and costs). also that people are less likely to move to find new work when they already own a home. all the more reason for the tax code to NOT favor home ownership.

Yeah, my employer is talking about moving the office across town, and I'm PO'd because it will double my commute (to a whopping 15-20min ;)  If I was renting, I would probably just find another apartment/rental-house closer to the new site.
