Holy mother of what the hell?

I just walked past the "share bar" at work and noticed someone had set out a pink box and some cartons of honey butter and cream cheese. Great! It looks like someone brought bagels. I took a peek in the box. It was full of GREEN, I mean Bright Green bagels. Is it just me who finds this disturbing?

So my first though, as the mother of a toddler who has eaten blueberries three meals a day and subsequently seen the consequences of this, was "does it stay green all the way through my system?".

So many events come with cake or frosting that is dyed to ridiculous colors. I have quite a sweet tooth but I avoid that that food coloring.

"Thanks - still recovering from all that great dinner food. I'll have some of the sweets in a little bit..." (and then avoid the sweets the rest of the time)

Awww, green bagels!  I used to look forward to them on St. Patrick's Day when I was a kid.  But I was looking for them a few years ago and couldn't find any for sale.  This year I made green cupcakes in honor of the day.
