Some time in the distant past one of y'all provided me with a Captain Awkward post that was incredibly helpful. It was about being in a relationship with someone who was on/off, wishy washy, didn't know what they wanted and how Captain Awkward said that they needed to stop trying to be in charge of the other person's emotions/thoughts/decisions. Take what they say at face value and leave it at that versus being like "When you say 'No', do you really mean..." or simply not respecting the other person's answer.
Anyway, if anyone could link me to this article that would be super helpful. I've got a buddy that's now in a similar situation and would love for him to read this. I can't find it for the life of me!
