I’m a financial writer looking to profile people who have met savings goals small and large: building an emergency fund, moving to a new city, paying for a wedding or a big trip, paying for college, retiring on time—in particular looking for males and people in their 50s and up. I'm 50 and we made our stash of over 2M the boring and old fashioned way.  Nobody would read the article.   No charts, no spreadsheets, not even a written budget.   Just blue collar workers.  There is nothing to this stuff.
