I work in the engineering department of a large municipality, so my day mostly consists of 4 cube walls and a cup full of pencils, but every now and then I'm let out to play. Yesterday was one of those days. Our police department wants to put aerial speed enforcement ("Yo Bandit, we got us a bear in the air up here") out, and need us to add pavement markings to our plans to help them. To show how the whole thing works, they offered to take me up in the chopper for a look around.

http://imgur.com/gallery/Mh3MYIt was actually a lot more helpful than I thought - I can see using this tool for a lot more of our problem solving. Hovering over a farm field, you have really wide field of view, and we could watch driver behaviours and reaction to the road alignments really well.
Anyways I wanted to share, but I can't say a lot around the office since management fears folks will start abusing the tool.
