There's already a 3 page thread about it here: https://forum.mrmoneymustache.com/continue-the-blog-conversation/the-principle-of-constant-optimization-what's-your-myers-briggs/

It's the first result if you search for INTJ.

I know we have Myers-Briggs skeptics here (and I respect their opinion), but I too am so "heavily" INTJ that the Myers-Briggs INTJ descriptions describe me down to minute details.  : /

Everyone on the internet is a friggin INTJ.

It used to be a rare specimen, apparently.  In the self-selected groups like you find here, it's super common.

Meh.
I am a former teacher who accumulated a bunch of real estate, retired at 29, spent some time traveling the world full time and am now settled with three kids.

And here's a Myers-Briggs skeptic. People love it. It's widely used and it's publishers make a mint from it. But, from a scientific standpoint, it's not really predictive of anything or even that reliable over time. It was created by a bored housewife who was enamored with a now largely abandoned area of clinical psychology. The publishers have provided no compelling evidence for its validity in any peer reviewed scientific journal. Independent research has found no evidence for its validity either. Scientifically, it's bunk. There are valid personality measures out there, but this isn't one of them.

If I'm anything I'm one of these two. The J/P is probably the least solid, followed by the I/E.

But that doesn't mean I approve of Myers-Briggs types.

Nope, INFP and I want to say "unfortunately", because if you look at the careers best suited for my personality FI remains a dream..

My sister is also an INTJ, but she is married to an ESFP -- he is one crazy guy!

Oh, also, it is so easy to take the test and get the result that will go over well in your office. Not that I did that or anything. ;-)

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
