I don't watch sportsball at all, but this guy seems like a natural hero of the FI movement.
No guilt over quitting, no giving your boss two weeks. The very moment he knew he was done with it, he just walked out.
It would be equivalent of standing up in the middle of a meeting, telling everybody you're going down to the corner store for a pack of smokes, and never coming back.
