Love it! I have been having tiny house fantasies for several years, even to the point where I explored building a tiny house on an empty lot in my neighborhood. It was actually more of a cottage, really, at 400+ square feet, which is about as small as a family of five with three dogs can go in my opinion. My plan was to rent out our "big" house, move the family into the tiny house for a year, and write a blog about my year of living simply.
At the end of the year, the plan would be to either continue living in the tiny house and sell or rent the big house, or to move back into the big house and rent the tiny house (we're right near a college campus, so renting it to a grad student or couple should be easy).
Alas, I just couldn't get the economics to work. Land prices and property taxes are too expensive and what we could get in rent for either house (big or tiny) wouldn't be enough to make it worth doing. So it'll remain a fantasy for now.
I am, however, trying to convince my sister and her husband to build/buy a tiny house so I can live vicariously through them!
