I was also amused to learn at the end that "graft" has a much different meaning in British English vs. American English.  :)

Wow, I too wish we had that nearby, sounds like a cool place to hang out.  I do my best to fix everything, but I still have a lot to learn.

I did not know about the British version of graft.  So is this usage right:

"After years of graft, apple grafters succumb to graft."

Man, that's got to piss off Apple.  They've been fighting to make stuff non-reparable for years.

Excellent ! I do electronic repair work on side, requires quite a bit of upfront cost for equipment but its also a fun hobby for me. The surface mount parts particularly the 0201 components are a bear though at first, its quite a steep learning curve.
