Nice thread. Reddit (as a whole) surprises me sometimes, but it quickly reverts to complainypants comments about how higher education is a scam that robs everybody out of 30 grand a year.

I have to wonder what world this guy inhabits.  I mean, I'm far from poor, and not only have I never bought a new car, I can't offhand even think of anyone I've ever known who has.

I know people like that, but they are a small debt-laden group.
