I like the concept of relative frugality and agree with much of the article, but I think WCI misses the mark with his definition and understanding of MMM philosophy.

I think he's halfway to understanding the MMM approach.  He got the "experiences with others bring greater joy" part right, but missed the whole "it doesn't have to cost tons of money" side of things.
