Pregnant on $20 a Day

I like MMM, but as a single dude I never dared tell anyone it's easy with a wife and kids.  I'm barely informed enough to sound stupid.  But from this article it seems possible.  I'm interested to see how their life pans out in a few years.

I don't see how anyone could possibly spend $20 every single damn day on the stuff listed in that article. That's not rent and utilities -- just straight up food plus luxuries.

Some notable expenses she mentioned were $100 for a dog trainer visit, $200 for a desk/shelf unit for the nursery, and frequent copays for therapist and chiropractor.  She served pizza to friends visiting her home (I'm guessing not homemade?) and then didn't have money left for dry cleaning.

She's off to a decent start, but could make significantly more progress, I bet.

Seems like too much money. Plenty of guys would help her get pregnant for free.

Ditto. 

She complains at one point that it's hard to be on a budget while pregnant, but she's ignoring the fact that the maternity clothes and baby items she claims are putting her over the top of her budget are super easy to find used!  My two children had very few bought-new items, and I had only two items of bought-new maternity clothing.
