Poor Chinese Family Makes Better Life
« on: June 22, 2012, 06:39:26 PM »
This is an awesome story about a Mustachian Chinese family that started in a poor, rural village and ended up paying for their children's college and post-graduate educations in the U.S. through saving and hard work.

The woman in this story (once the little girl of that family) has grown up and is passing on similar values to her daughter now.

(As an aside, it was Ms. Yu's pointed, direct questions about subprime loans that made Vanguard stop purchasing them.)

*, if they can do it, why is it so hard for some of us?

Inspiring.
I am a former teacher who accumulated a bunch of real estate, retired at 29, spent some time traveling the world full time and am now settled with three kids.
If you want to know more about me, this Business Insider profile tells the story pretty well.
