Most people enjoy 70 degree days and sunshine.  Obviously not everyone.

Strange, 'cause I remember mostly cold and fog...  Unless you went inland a ways, in which case it got ungodly hot.  Maybe there's a narrow strip between the two extremes?

Smog?  I don't recall much (if any) smog in San Diego,

Not San Diego (haven't been there recently enough to have an opinion), smog in Mexico City.  Used to be the world's worst air quality, until upstaged by places like Beijing and New Delhi (and not because Mexico City improved much), but still in top 10 lists.

I lived there for 6 years in a few different parts of town.  Sure, there was some "May Gray" and "June Gloom" but it usually was just in the morning.  I suppose "cold" is relative.  I saw people wearing scarves and mittens when it got down to 60; being from the Midwest, it was still "warm" to me.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
