This simple habit was the first thing I started after reading MMM, it is crazy how simple it is... yet how  "difficult" it can be for so many.

This showed up in my facebook feed this morning.  As expected, the comments were disheartening.  Do you think that people don't understand the concepts in the article, or do people just enjoy complaining about their bleak financial future?  Anyways, good that financial independence is getting some mainstream buzz.  Maybe if the idea gets planted in the minds of enough skeptics, eventually they'll dig a little deeper and it will start to catch on.

I think for most people it is comforting to think things are out of their control so they bitch and complain about how they can't get ahead without realizing...that is why they can't get ahead.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
