John Moffitt walks away from NFL, $1 million

He sounds too smart to be in the NFL anyway!  Good for him.

John Moffitt grew up in my town. I played youth ("pee-wee") football and high school football with him. He's a really great guy.

I think there's more to the story and that's mostly spin. But what do I know, that's just observations from a fan that's followed his career for awhile.

Moffit is a great guy though, so who cares about his reasons for quitting.  He's quite funny and interesting, and was great on the RRR.  I wish him the best of luck.
