I'm now very curious as to what they actually eat. I'm wondering how far they go with bulking out meals with carbs, for instance. We stretch our meat and don't have steak or roasts but even in our most frugal meal weeks and growing some of our veg we'd hit $80.

If I'm understanding the article correctly, it's $42 for 7 dinners a week, not $42 for every meal a week? They aren't exactly being clear about it. They do say $1.50 per meal, and that a $6 meal feeds 4 people. $6 x 7 = $42. That's fine. But surely they're eating more than one meal per day. So.............
