I was listening to a sports podcast (I know, I know- boring!) and Red Bryant, Super Bowl champion with the '13 Seahawks, was talking about the tradition of rookies having to do chores and other stuff for the veterans on the team.
Besides the typical "carry my bags" and "bring me a plate of food", Red's vet made him read three books: Jack Bogles Common Sense Investing, Rich Dad, Poor Dad, and The Millionaire Next Door.
Red was very appreciative of this advice and what it meant for his future and his family.
