Along the same lines, it seems there is a Boeing study that shows that retiring early greatly increases your chances of living longer: http://faculty.kfupm.edu.sa/COE/gutub/English_Misc/Retire1.htm

Seems to make sense to me- more stress from a 9-5 = shorter lifespan
