Afford Anything: The biggest study of everyday millionaires in 25 years - with Chris Hogan https://affordanything.com/episode171
This is my favorite FI podcast episode so far.
I found value in the podcast. It's basically an updated version of the millionaire next door book. Chris tries to talk about how it's different. However, the data seems very similar to the original book. That might make it more difficult for him to sell more books, but I think there is value in knowing that very little has changed on the formula to getting to 1 million.
My biggest criticism of the podcast is that I feel like he misrepresented the educational statistic. If I remember correctly, 92% of the millionaires had a 4-year degree or higher. He followed it up with a comment talking about how you don't need a 4-year degree to get to 1 million. While that is technically true, if 92% of millionaires have at least a 4-year degree, I think it shows that having a 4-year degree is very important.
