One mistake I see in budgets is that they are only tracking each month at a time. You need to think of your budget as a YEARLY budget. This will help you realize how much you can save, even after groceries are paid for. Seeing $1k - $10k potential savings, can help you stick to your monthly budget. Seeing what you are paying every year puts a different perspective on those tiny recurring bills, like your cellphone bill, video streaming service like Netflix ($95/yr), Hulu ($95/yr), or the local car wash membership ($150+). Knowing you can save a certain amount really helps.

This spreadsheet can calculate what you are paying Yearly for recurring bills. For a simple example, Netflix is $7.99 but when you look at how much it is per year, things add up. To $95.88/year to be exact.

My spreadsheet will show you the percentages you are spending, or could be saving each year. The spreadsheet can project how much you can save by the end, based on your monthly purchases outside of your recurring bills. Also, if you want to by something new, you can see how many hours of work it will take to afford such item.

The spreadsheet will help you get a better grasp on your bills, and your savings. Seeing what you COULD be saving, really puts your bills and purchases into perspective.

This has saved me money, ..short term and ESPECIALLY long term, and hoping you will enjoy it as much as I have.

Also, one tip: call your cellphone provider & cable tv and ask for a better rate. Say you are paying too much and talk about options with them. I went from $90/Mo bill with AT&T to $68/mo = $264/year. That's a lot of groceries and gas money if you ask me.

Just wanted to share my personal spreadsheet for your personal use for $2.99. Hopefully you'll save some more money this year!

PM me your email if you'd like a copy.
Thanks
