Finally, where are your customers in all this? We're in the ecommerce age where no one buys a darn thing unless they see it has at least 4 stars on Amazon.
If you don't have a customer ranking/feedback system in your ecommerce site, upgrade to one that does. You also need customer quotes that you will repurpose on social media as well as your website.
"I love the Celtic earrings. They were a gift for my sister for St. Patrick's day and she was thrilled. The quality was excellent and the color was even better than the photo."
There. Now I know I can buy those earrings and not be disappointed. Your customer even gave two tips on what occasion this could be purchased -- as a gift, for St. Patty's.
Your customers are absolute gold. They say things you would never think to say and teach you things you need to know. Make sure you communicate with them.
Put a customer survey up on your website. You can get them free at SurveyMonkey and embed it directly into a page on your website.
https://www.surveymonkey.comPut an offer on the home page. "Fill out this survey and enter to win a free bracelet given every month!" Keep your survey lean and mean. What do you want to learn? Gender, age, household income, how did you hear about us, did you buy an item today, if no, why not?
The info they give you to sign up for the drawing (name, address, email) can get you geographic locale.
Can we sign you up for our weekly emails?
Do you have any advice about our products or website?
What products would you like to see more of from Bright Sky?
Look for patterns. If customers mention the same things over and over, that's good information.
Your customers are pure gold. Talk to them. Listen to them. They will tell you where to put your emphasis and what corrections to make.
