My husband and I and our best friend are looking for a house to rent. Our lease is up October 8th, and unfortunately we have to give 60 days notice of moving out. So we did. However, we don't have a new place to live, yet. 60 days notice is a bit ridiculous...
Anyhow.
We need at least 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. More space is welcome.
My husband and I have a well-behaved Beagle, Grunt, who is 8 years old and has grown up with us since puppyhood.
Not required, but would be amazing:
We'd prefer a place with a garage so my husband can repair our car.
My husband loves cooking, a gas stove (and a kitchen bigger than a closet) would be fantastic.
Fenced yard for Grunt. The boys are both handy and can fix things and they would love a yard to care for.
The boys would love a basement.
I believe our budget allows up to $1500 a month for rent, but less would obviously be better, especially if utilities are up to us. We would prefer deposits which are refundable- I understand security would likely be needed, maybe something for Grunt.
We are all employed. No drugs except the occasional night enjoying alcoholic beverages. We can supply references and any other documentation needed to provide proof of employment and good-tenantship.
If you find anything you think we might like, or if you are a landlord, please let me know! In or near Longmont, but NOT Boulder.
