My folks are moving and not interested in taking two large items - a perfectly reliable treadmill ($1500) and a stunningly comfortable navy leather contemporary couch ($6000, given to them by another family member).
Since y'all are into good deals, I've convinced them to sell for "low, low" prices - basically just the time it would take for them to work around you when you came to pick up these. Maybe a "donation" to their moving expenses of $100 for each item?
Anyone interested? Difficulty is that I didn't know they were planning on (ghasp) taking these to the dump if they can't donate them until just now. And we'll be there this weekend.
