Selling Gold -- Advice / Recommendations?
« on: March 31, 2020, 08:00:31 PM »
Hello MMM Marketplace!  I have recently inherited a small number of gold items from family members and am hoping that the forum might be willing to advise me about where best to try to sell these items.

I have a couple of sets of earrings and a Rolex watch band.

In one of his posts from August, 2012, MMM recommended Midwest Refineries for selling gold and silver.

Are there any better options that the forum knows about, or would Midwest Refineries be my best bet?

I would be grateful for any suggestions or advice.

Thank you for your time.

Midwest and Apmex are both good choices.  I've sold junk silver coins to my escrap yard, who also deals in precious metals and found they pay higher than the above and on par with what I'd been getting from craigslist buyers.  If you have a local escrap dealer, call and ask.  You never know.  It sounds like you have so little that even the shipping is going to matter.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
