Plenty of UK readers/members.

I think the MMM community takes a DIY mentality to many things, mostly finance related.

Financial advisers, planners, managers etc are not regarded here in high authority as they usually charge high fee's for advice that largely benefits them.

I would post a question you may have for a FA over on the Bogleheads forums if you want solid advice.  Someone there may be able to suggest a trusted advisor as well.

You might try over at Money Saving Expert. Not exactly the same audience, but there will be finance bods over there.

Hi julesoxblue

The last time we had a financial adviser over my wife asked him "if you're so good at retirement advice, why aren't you retired?"

How about posting some of things you want to do and we can chat from a UK perspective

Cheers, from Edinburgh

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
