I switched to Mint Mobile from Republic Wireless a few months ago and the value can't be beat. And I love the freedom of phone choices. If I bought an unlocked, refurbished IPhone that has never had service with me before, is a Mint SIM card all I need to get the IPhone working?  I appreciate any advice!

That's what I did with my Google Pixel.  They sell iPhones on their website, so I don't see any reason it wouldn't work.
