I sing a very simple, short song to my daughters that I basically made up. It's about 13 seconds long - more of a "tune" than a song!

I'm looking for someone who can listen to it and write the notes for me. I just want to be able to put the notes in measure so I can add it to their books of special stuff.

I could record myself singing it (agh!) and email or text it to someone.

I'm trying to think of something I could barter.....if you live in Charlotte, NC I would deliver home baked goodies but my chances of you being close might be slim!

If you can't find someone here (I'm certainly not capable of doing anything like that), and it's worth $5 to you, I'd suggest fiverr.com
I am a former teacher who accumulated a bunch of real estate, retired at 29, spent some time traveling the world full time and am now settled with three kids.
If you want to know more about me, this Business Insider profile tells the story pretty well.
I (rarely) blog at AdventuringAlong.com. Check out the Now page to see what I'm up to currently.

Would something like this work?  (I'm not a musician; I haven't tried it; I don't even have a windows/mac to try it on.)

It could save you the horrific embarrassment of recording/emailing your own voice. ;)

From experience, converting mp3>MIDI is a pretty frustrating process (both in the actual doing of it, and the results)...  YMMV.

You can try the Fiverr route as suggested; or otherwise, as someone who can play, compose and transcribe music, I can potentially do this - I'm all the way over in Australia so unfortunately I don't think I can sample your baked goods, but we can probably work something else out. :)
