Discount Clipper Cards. SF Bay Area Public Transit
« on: August 17, 2020, 12:29:02 PM »
Hey everyone, so it may not be the best time to be trying to sell of public transit passes, but eventually people will need to be taking public transit again in the SF Bay Area, and I'm looking to help out a fellow Mustachian while spending down my transit benefits balance.

So here's the context, I get a pre-tax balance deposited onto a benefits card that is used for purchasing transit passes or uberpool rides. Company contributes into this.

I currently don't use it any more, but continually, with every paycheck, the company just adds more onto it, so my balance is currently around $1K and growing.

I've started purchasing $100 clipper cards and listing them on ebay, but I figured there were some bay area mustachians around here that might jump at the chance to get discounted clipper cards. I can also put different amounts or different passes on there if that suits you better.

I'm thinking that a 25% discount off the value loaded onto it is a good starting point, but I'm open to negotiating. Please let me know if you'd be interested, and I'd be happy to discuss further.

Thanks!

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
