Bay Area: Interested in joining a personal finance hackathon?
« on: February 19, 2015, 01:10:51 PM »
This was something I chanced across: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/capital-one-people-money-hackathon-50k-prizes-registration-15560583123?discount=50svprogramming
I haven't done a hackathon in a while, but last few times were pretty fun, and I thought this was an interesting topic that others here might appreciate. I tried to drag my wife into joining me, but she pulled the "not a developer" excuse.. as if that has ever stopped anyone...

Anyone else interested in collaborating?

I'd like to participate. I have an idea that I've been playing around with for a while, but I don't know if it will be a good fit for the hackathon. I'm also open to other ideas to hack on.

What next? Do we PM each other contact details?

I will shoot you a PM. If anyone else is interested, go ahead and post here or PM me. This might actually force me to participate instead of just saying it would be nice to do :)
