Do you want more FI books?
Meet the Frugalwoods is good if you want an easy, fast-reading FI memoir.
A Random Walk Down Wall Street is good if you want a bit more investment skillz.
The Obstacle is the Way expands a bit on the stoicism expounded all over these parts, though I seem to love it less than everyone else on the forum.

The 2018 Version has been available from Amazon for over a month in both paper and kindle formats. I also saw the new version in my local bookstore. The bright yellow/orange cover is difficult to miss.

MMM wrote the foreward. The Mad Fientist is the first accolade on the "Praise" page inside the cover.

The original 1992 version was my personal "Declaration of Independence," and my love for this book is not entirely rational. I just finished reading the new version.

This new edition is a major update merging the original 9 steps with the current FI/RE community. It embraces the work of Pete, Brandon, JL Collins, and many others. The investing advice has been updated to reflect the realities of investing in the 21st century.

While nothing in the book should be surprising to a Mustachian, it is a worthy read to capture the path that has lead so many of us to find freedom in our lives apart for the usual W2 employment madness.

For those new to the concept of Financial Independence, YMOYL 2018 is a must read if you do not have a grasp of the foundations of FI, and need some tools to guide you along the path.

I'm not trying to be the contrarian, but this is the one personal finance book that people seem to love, that I didn't care for. I don't remember what I didn't like about it now, it's been a while. I'll try the new version when it comes out.

You’re not the only one. I found it to be a little too far out, new age, hippyish for my taste. All the talk about life energy and so forth. The actual premise of the book is great and some of the exercises are great for getting people to wake up to how they’re actually doing, but the style just didn’t work for me.

Bumping the thread because there was a nice profile of Ms. Robin in the Washington Post:
