Warren & Tyagi. All Your Worth: The Ultimate Lifetime Money Plan
« on: September 16, 2017, 10:44:48 AM »
This is another book I read a few years ago. It's a well written defense of the 50 (must haves): 30 (wants) :20 (savings) budget. (Although as Mustachians I suppose we should be aiming for something more along the lines of 40: 10: 50.  I liked their concept of balance --they do a nice job of drawing attention to the importance of not having "must haves" exceed 50% of your total income. They also have a concluding chapter that discusses what to do if you were to be hit by a financial disaster.

Yeah, the book is pretty good - I read it a long time ago. But since then Warren has taken such a hard turn to the left that I can't really give serious thought to anything she says anymore.
