Is anyone else reading
Rest? Though he disparages "get-rich quick schemes and early retirement" early in the book and emphasizes how rest supports work (and vice versa), it reads to me as a guide to a well-lived FIRE life. A lot of the book draws on the experiences of creative thinkers (writers, scientists, etc) and how they structured their lives to achieve great things. I think many of us here have passions we'd like to pursue post-FIRE (mine is writing), and the book seems particularly applicable to those with goals and an ability to set our own schedules (so FIREes).
More of a summary here:

Would love to hear others' reactions to the book!
